Mohamed Haitham Impresses with Estoril U-19 in Promising European Start

Young Egyptian striker Mohamed Haitham continues to make a promising start to his professional journey in European football after catching attention with the youth team of G.D. Estoril Praia since joining during the winter transfer window from Al Ahly SC.

The Egypt U-20 national team forward has featured in five matches for Estoril’s youth side since completing his move in January. 

During that span, he has scored two goals and provided one assist, highlighting his attacking impact and ability to influence results. Last Saturday, he found the net in his team’s 3–0 victory over SL Benfica.

Haitham joined the Portuguese club on a one-season deal from Al Ahly, a move aimed at helping the young striker gain experience and exposure in European football during this important stage of his career.

The Egyptian forward has drawn increasing attention from fans back home thanks to his encouraging performances, especially as he remains one of the standout talents within Egypt’s youth national setup.

Haitham previously represented Egypt at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup, held in Chile, where he delivered impressive displays that showcased his attacking potential and further raised expectations about his future.
