The British Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has reported an attack occurring 52 nautical miles south of Aden, Yemen.

According to a report by the American Al-Hurra TV channel on Wednesday, the master of a commercial ship reported a missile falling into the water nearby. Fortunately, the crew was unharmed, and the ship continues its journey to its next destination as authorities investigate the incident.

The Yemeni Houthi group has been launching drone and missile attacks on shipping routes since last November.

Previously, the Yemeni Houthi group claimed responsibility for targeting the Israeli ship "MSC Sara V." in the Arabian Sea with a new ballistic missile that recently entered service.

On Monday, the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF) in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden clarified that a Liberia-flagged ship was targeted by a missile in the Arabian Sea but was not hit.
