Dr. Khalid Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has received a report submitted by Dr. Emad El Din Mahmud Hegazi, Executive Officer of the Authority of Funding Sciences, Technology and Creativity, about the initiative that aims at funding projects that supports creativity.
The imitative seeks to provide funding to the scientific inventions to reach to the final product or the primary model and support the successful technologies to being applies ant marketed.
The report pointed out the donation of creativity seeks to support new technical products or other products with more distinguished characters base on sound principles of sciences and engineering. Such products leave positive value on society and the Egyptian economy.
The report clarified that the Authority of Funding Sciences, Technology and Creativity ( which was known previously as The Fund of Sciences and Technical Development) plans to fund the scientific effective projects to convert them to practical applications help to help in developing society and find solutions to its problems.
The authority also targets to maximize the benefit of the Egyptian academicians through forums to be held later.
The new initiative supports the applied and research activities by EGP 3 million for three years to support the leading researchers in fields like using the nano technologies in packing the foods safely, fighting the contamination in industry, information technologies, space, digitizing of the government operations, supporting creativity in diagnosing, health care and applications of the Embryonic stem cells.
