The activities of the Fifth edition of the "Speak Arabic" initiative were launched today for Egyptian children residing in Germany and Sweden with the participation of Ambassador Nabila Makram Abdel-Shaheed, Minister of State for the Zoom application in order to encourage them to speak Arabic and the Egyptian dialect, in cooperation with the company "Weil" Spring is specialized in setting up and organizing camps.
Ambassador Nabila Makram's participation came within the framework of the implementation of the "Speak Arabic" initiative launched by the Ministry of Immigration, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to consolidate the Egyptian national identity among the children of Egyptians residing abroad, which officially came into effect last October, and its first and second camps were launched in Austria.
Speak at home in Arabic with children:
During today's camp, Ambassador Nabila Makram was keen to speak the Arabic language in the Egyptian dialect with the children, sending a message to mothers to speak at home in Arabic with their children, and to keep souvenirs from Egypt inside their homes abroad to support the Egyptian identity.
The edition’s activities also dealt with a number of Egyptian traditional songs, with which the participating children interacted.
Ambassador Nabila Makram, Minister of Immigration, expressed her happiness with the participation of children of Egyptians abroad from Germany and Sweden affirming that Egypt always seeks to take care of it’s citizens whether abroad or within.
