Media reports indicated on Sunday that a military group opposing President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo's term extension withdrew from its positions and moved to northern Mogadishu from Shabeellaha Hoose.
Therefore, the Commander of the Somalian army Odowaa Yusuf Rageh held a meeting with the group's officers and asked them to return to their positions.
The opposing group rejected and continued their plans for issuing media statements to the Somalian people to assert their stand.
It is worthy to mention that Somalia faced political chaos as lawmakers extended their term alongside President Farmaajo's one without holding any votes.
The African Union condemned the extension act, urged the leaders to hold poll talks.
