Maj. Gen. Abdullah Al-Jafri, a Yemeni military expert from Sanaa, confirmed that “the US-led coalition (Guardian of Prosperity) to secure the arrival of ships to Israel was stillborn.

He affirmed that the newly-formed alliance will not be able to prevent us from launching missiles at everything related to the Zionist entity in the Red Sea.”

He added in a call with “Sputnik” yesterday, Monday: “The American coalition in the Red Sea will not be able to achieve any of the goals they talked about, in addition to the fact that it consists of 8 countries, as Washington announced.

The Yemeni expert revealed that some members of the alliance withdrew before it carried out its work duties, and the goal was the joining of some countries to please the United States of America (USA) to lift the blockade on Israel and to support ships to reach Israeli ports.”

Al-Jafari said, regarding the military capabilities of the Yemeni army and the popular committees in the Republic of Yemen: “We find that they are in a state of readiness and have modern and advanced military capabilities that can confront any naval vessel, whether military or civilian.”
