On Friday, Former Vice President Mike Pence said that he won't support Donald Trump in his campaign for the 2024 presidential elections.
Pence told Fox News: “It should come as no surprise that I will not be endorsing Donald Trump this year."
He added during his Fox interview: "Donald Trump is pursuing and articulating an agenda that is at odds with the conservative agenda that we governed on during our four years, and that is why I cannot in good conscience endorse Donald Trump in this campaign."
Pence had planned against Trump for their party’s nomination but dropped his bid before the beginning of the voting.
The announcement of Pence came after a series of Trump's key administration officials who declined to support Trump's bid to return to the White House.
On the other hand, Republican members of Congress and other GOP officials have largely rallied behind Trump.
