Microsoft announced ''Windows 10X'' version during its fall Surface hardware event in early October. At that time, officials described Windows 10X as built for "dual-screen PCs." Officials made no mention of 10X being available on any other type of device in early October.
Microsoft has designed its Surface devices. Because the Windows, Office and Surface teams all work together on building hardware and software experiences these days, the choice of wording isn't coincidental. The unified Microsoft Search technology will be front and center on Windows 10X devices.
On other hand, Microsoft doesn’t even have a single line of code ready for Windows 10X. That makes this the perfect opportunity to give some feedback to Microsoft so they can implement it for the Surface Neo’s release next year, according to Tech news.

The otherwise familiar taskbar will include at least one icon for recently launched apps (akin to iPadOS), while the quick settings have two stages of detail (like what you might get from Android's status bar). And when you wake your machine, you'll go straight to authentication instead of a lock "curtain."
In addition Windows 10X will work on both dual-screen devices and single 9-inch panes that can fold in half. If someone wanted to call a foldable 10X device a phone because it was running the Microsoft Your Phone app and thus able to receive/make calls from the device via a user's Android phone.
Noteworthy, Microsoft launched a new security feature called Tamper Protection for the company’s Windows Defender Antivirus solution in December 2018.
Tamper Protection, as the name suggests, protects certain security features from tampering. One of the barriers that Tamper Protection puts in place around security features blocks manipulations of setting changes that are made outside of the official Settings application.
