Meta's "Threads" launched in Europe, five months of the app's worldwide release, the company announced on Thursday.
The company hopes that the EU launch would create more traffic on the application that suffers from lack of users' interest.
Meta Chief Mark Zuckerberg announced the news with a post on Threads, welcoming new users from Europe.
Meta was struggling with EU launch due to the strict laws of the EU.
In October Meta announced subscription services for Threads will be available in Europe.
