Mayyas Group Wins Arabs Got Talent's Prize

Lebanon dance group Mayyas won the famous reality TV talent show competition ''Arabs Got Talent'', in its 6th season.

The competition was tough between Mayyas and eight other talents, especially Duo Acrobat that gained wide appreciation.

Nadim Cherfan the Mayyas group leader, explained that he wanted the victory to be a rallying cry for the Lebanese artistic scene and the group will open a school for contemporary dance with the prize money.

Cherfan confirmed that the Mayyas group grew steadily over the years to include a number of age groups spanning male and women.

Mayyas group was originally formed as series of dancing classes seven years ago and held in various spots in Beirut.

The jury comprised of Lebanese media expert Ali Jaber the MBC director, Lebanese star singer Najwa Karam and Egyptian star actor Ahmed Helmi.
