Egyptian tennis player Mayar Sherif continued her sparkling performance in the Charleston International Tennis Championship, held in the USA after she beat the 149th-Ranked American, Caroline Dolehide.
Sherif had beaten Dolehide 2-0 (7-5, 7-6) after two hours and 25 minutes to qualify for the quarterfinals of the international tennis championship.
Egypt's golden girl, 24, jumped 9 places in the classification to rank 163 in the global ranking, after reaching the "Roland Garros" primary draw, one of the Grand Slam championships.
It is worth noting that the Egyptian champion preferred to return to Egypt after qualifying for the major draw of the Roland Garros Championship for the first time in the history of Egyptian tennis, to celebrate this achievement with the Egyptian people.
