The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather will prevail in most of the country during Saturday’s daylight hours as the latest heatwave that hit Egypt is on its way to end.

Extremely hot weather is also expected to hit South Sinai and the South of the country.

Dusty winds will occur occasionally across the country.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean and the Red Sea will experience turbulent waves, ranging between 2.5 and 3.25 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at nighttime.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 36°C in Cairo, 26°C in Alexandria, 25°C in Marsa Matruh, 46°C in Sohag, 46°C in Qena, and 47°C in Aswan.
