May 11: Extremely Hot Weather Expected for Egypt on Sunday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot weather to prevail in most of the country during Sunday's daylight hours.

The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, North Coast, and North Upper Egypt.

Meteorologist also predicts that Egypt to experience a temperature rise.

Winds will occur occasionally across the country.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height varying between southeast and northeast surface winds.

The Red Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height varying between northwest and northeast surface winds.

Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt in the early hours and at the end of the nighttime.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 40°C in Cairo, 32°C in Alexandria, 26°C in Marsa Matruh, 42°C in Sohag, 43°C in Qena, and 43°C in Aswan.
