A man armed with a machete was arrested on Tuesday in Paris, according to French Police Spokesman.
According to security sources, the man was arrested in a hotel located in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. The forces arrived at the hotel after metro passengers told the police that they had seen a man armed with a machete walking at the "Père Lachaise" station.
"A person matching the witnesses' descriptions has been arrested by the police. No victims were reported so far; the investigation is underway," a source told Sputnik news agency.
