Jordanian singer-actress Mai Selim stated Sunday that she tested negative for coronavirus, following the infection of her sister Dana.
In a statement, Selim noted that Dana isolated herself at her home, far away from her, adding that her sister had suffered from mild symptoms , as it occurred with her other sister, Mais, who was infected with the deadly virus last month.
The star added that she takes safety precautions against the coronavirus all the time, and always avoid gatherings as she is always afraid for her daughter and mother from the virus.
Selim called on people to take extreme caution by following all precautionary measures to bypass this period safely.
The actress is currently filming her last scenes in TV series “Darbet Mallem” starring Mohamed Ragab.
It is worth mentioning that the novel coronavirus, which was first reported in Wuhan, China, has infected more than 68,165,877 people and killed over 1,557,385 worldwide. It also hit a number of celebrities and top political figures around the world.
