On Saturday, a Dokki court approved the imprisonment of former footballer and EFA member Magdy Abdel Ghani for one year, besides fining him 100,000 LE.
The ruling came at the last session of Abdel Ghani's trial with others over issues related to inheritance.
Also, the court expressed that more decisions will be taken regarding another six cases next month.
A number of Abdel Ghani's relatives filed a case accusing him among others of refraining from handing over relatives' shares of inheritance.
Last year, Abdel Ghani was sentenced by Dokki Misdemeanor Court to 6 years in prison and was fined EGP 300 thousand in 3 cases in the same case before he was declared innocent.
