France defender Lucas Hernandez will be out of the rest of World Cup after sustaining a knee injury during Australia match.
The 26-year-old Bayern Munich left-back ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee in the defending champions' 4-1 win.
"I am extremely sorry for Lucas," said manager Didier Deschamps.
"We are losing an important element. Lucas is a warrior and I have no doubt he will do everything possible to return to the game.
