On Wednesday, 2024/2025 English Premier League champions Liverpool will face Japan’s Yokohama F. Marinos at Yokohama Stadium, as part of the Reds' preparations for the upcoming season.
This game will be Liverpool’s fourth pre-season friendly match as they gear up to defend their Premier League title, with the season kicking off on August 15 against Bournemouth.
They are also set to face Crystal Palace on August 10 at Wembley Stadium in the FA Community Shield.
Liverpool has already played three friendlies: they beat Preston North End 3–1, thrashed Stoke City 5–0, and then lost to Italy’s AC Milan 4–2.
