Liverpool led the score thanks to a Daniel Sturridge header in the 30th minute of the first half and James Milner's penalty only 6 minutes later.PSG then fought back after suffering two goals.
Thomas Meunier gave PSG an immediate response scoring with a low volley. Mbappe, who was strictly guarded for the whole match capitalized on a loose ball after Neymar's driving run to slam home past Alisson and seemingly earn PSG a point with only seven minutes to go. Firmino then scored the winning goal for the reds one minute into stoppage time giving them the hard earned win.
