Pence is among the first high profile politicians to publicly receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
"I didn't feel a thing," Pence said. "Well done."
The Vice President sat in a chair next to an American flag, under a sign that said “SAFE and EFFECTIVE.”
The public vaccination at the White House was intended to build public confidence in the vaccine which was recently approved, according to the administration.
The vaccine was administered by staff from the Walter Reed National Medical Center.
One of the standard round of pre-vaccination questions were; Are you pregnant or breast feeding?, made people in the room laugh hard.
The Vice President's wife, Karen, was also vaccinated as was Surgeon General Jerome Adams.
