Lithuanian Defense Ministry Arvydas Anusauskas has reported that Lithuania has provided the Ukrainian military with winter clothing and equipment.
Anusauskas stated that his country is equipping tens of thousands of Ukrainian fighters with gear and clothing to protect them against the cold weather conditions while they are in the field.
He added that every package Lithuania contributes is also another step towards victory.
It's noteworthy that Lithuania, which declared its independence in 1990 before the collapse of the Soviet Union the following year, is among the staunchest supporters of Ukraine in its resistance against the Russian war.
Ukraine heavily relies on its Western allies within the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) for military supplies and other forms of support.
