The Alexandria Zoo director Dr. Nabila Aziz revealed on Friday, that a zookeeper was injured after a lion attacked him.
Aziz explained that one of the zookeepers was slightly injured while he was with a lion , but he collided with a marble wall, caused him to crack shoulder. ''The necessary measures were taken with the him immediately, and he was transferred to the hospital in good health,'' Aziz added.
On August 2020, the Alexandria Zoo resumed its activities after its closure on March 17th, under the Prime Minister decision to prevent the Covid-19 virus spread.
On other hand, Dr. Aziz confirmed that the Central Administration of Zoos has provided 3 heat detectors at the entrance door. In addition, any visitor who does not wear a face mask has been prevented from entering the zoo. She affirmed that the park was sterilized before receiving the visitors.
