On Thursday, some Libyan diplomatic sources revealed that the peace talks, scheduled to be held in mid October, between the Libyan warring parties will not be held in Geneva for logistical reasons.
The sources pointed out that the reasons are related to the issuance of visas, noting that the conference is probably to be held Tunisia, Malta or Cairo.
Libyan conflicting parties will meet in Geneva to appoint a new Presidential Council and a Prime Minister with two deputies.
The new government will be formed in order to unify Libyan institutions, especially economic and financial ones.
On the other hand, the negotiations hosted by Morocco in its previous round and was due to re-launch today, were delayed.
On September 10th, Morocco hosted dialogue sessions between the High State Council and the Parliament, which ended with compromises over the state’s sovereign positions.
