The Libyan dialogue sessions in Morocco is set to resume on Sunday, while sources in the Supreme Council stated that the members of the new Presidency Council will be chosen in the coming days.
Al-Arabiya news quoted sources that representatives of the Supreme Council in the Dialogue Committee will leave the capital, Tripoli, today, towards Morocco, where they will discuss the mechanisms for selecting who will assume the sovereign positions.
The sources expected that the mechanisms for selecting the members of the new Presidency Council, which will consist of a president, two deputies, and a separate prime minister, will be discussed.
Meanwhile, it was reported that Turkey is planning with the Al-Wefaq Government to establish an army affiliated with Tripoli and takes a headquarter in the capital, and aims to abort the rebuilding of the Libyan National Army.
Al-Arabiya news agency quoted sources saying that Turkey wanted to sign a long-term agreement with the Al-Wefaq government that would allow it to supply the militias with weapons and military equipment and train the army and police personnel of Al-Wefaq.
The Turkish agreement also includes the establishment of joint forces, with Al-Wefaq Government, to be located in Turkey, and assigned to lead operations inside Libya with Turkish participation.
In another development, protesters in Zliten and Tripoli, closed the Zliten coastal road, the Shatt road, and al-Jararat in Tripoli, in protest against the power cuts for periods that reached and exceeded 24 hours.
