Leicester City dominated the second spot in the Premier League after crushed Aston Villa 4-1. The Foxes are now eight points behind leaders Liverpool, and six points ahead of third-placed Manchester City.

Vardy had given the Foxes the lead as early as after only twenty minutes when he fired a left-foot shot from a few yards, netting the first goal.

Iheanachod doubled his side's lead in the 41st minute when Maddison drilled in a cross from the left byline, which Iheanacho volleyed home after getting between two defenders.

Grealish revived Aston Villa's hope in the game when he ran into the ball, which bounced in the box after a villa corner and curled it into the far corner from the left side of the area.

Leicester City broke once more on Villa when Evans netted the third through a powerful header from 10 yards in the 49th minute.

Vardy cemented his side's well-deserved victory in the 75th minute, netting his sixteenth goal in the competition when Praet lifted the ball over the top for Vardy to chase, control and then whack into the corner beyond Heaton.

Liverpool now are attaining the Premier League leadership after thrashing Bournemouth with three unanswered goals on Saturday to dominate the leadership with 46 points.
