On Friday, 2015 Premier League Champion Leicester City sacked their coach Ruud van Nistelrooy due to the poor performance.
Leicester City finished in the 18th place on the standings and were relegated to the Championship.
There were no reports regarding the next manager for the Foxes.
Leicester City clinched just six wins and conceded 25 defeats in 38 matches.
The Foxes announced the news on social media. They posted: "Leicester City Football Club and Ruud van Nistelrooy have mutually agreed that Ruud’s contract with the Club as First Team Manager will terminate with immediate effect," Leicester City wrote on their social media handle."
