Lebanese Member of Parliament Michel Murr died on Sunday at the age of 89 after his infection with the novel Coronavirus, he also had been suffering for a long time from an incurable disease.
Murr is a Lebanese politician who played a prominent role in Lebanese political life in various eras that Lebanon went through. He was elected as member of parliament in many electoral terms, he was also appointed as a minister in many governments and reached the positions of deputy prime minister and deputy speaker of parliament.
Noteworthy, the total number of Coronavirus cases in Lebanon reached 298913 so far, while the number of deaths, according to the data of the Lebanese Ministry of Health, reached 3031.
