Russian Foreign Minister (FM) Sergei Lavrov confirmed on Sunday that the Russian special military operation in Ukraine is going as planned.
In press remarks, Lavrov pointed out that the duration of the operation depends on a system to avoid bombing any civilian infrastructure, stressing at the same time that the future of Ukrainian lands should be decided by its citizens.
Moreover, he added that Russian forces in Ukraine protect the people and the Russian language, who were targeted by the Ukrainian regimes with hostility and direct racial discrimination during the era of former President Petro Poroshenko and the current one Volodymyr Zelensky as well.
