Russian Foreign Minister (FM) Sergey Lavrov stated that 46,000 civilians have lost their lives in Gaza within a year, far exceeding the number of casualties in the Ukraine crisis over the past decade.
He added that Egypt and Qatar played a key role, alongside the United States, in pressuring both Hamas and Israel to reach a ceasefire in Gaza.
Lavrov also asserted that Israel has plans for full control over the West Bank.
