Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Kenya is interested in developing cooperation with the Russian side, according to the Russian News Agency (Tass).
Lavrov added: "We talked about developing relations between Russia and the African Union."
He pointed out to the second Russian-African summit, which will be held in July in St. Petersburg, and will be of particular importance.
Lavrov added, "We expect that the decisions that are being prepared will facilitate ... the expansion of practical cooperation and the development of our interaction in the international arena".
The second summit and the Russia-Africa Economic Forum will be held on July 26-29 in St. Petersburg
