Gretel and Hansel (also known as Gretel & Hansel: A Grim Fairy Tale) is a dark fantasy horror movie that was produced in 2020. It was adapted from the German folklore Hansel and Gretel by the Brothers Grimm.
The plot follows the tale of two siblings, Gretel and Hansel, who are left to fend for themselves in the dark and unforgiving woods after their mother goes mad, Hungry and scared, they stumble upon a bounty of food left outside an isolated home, which turns out to be the residence of a witch.
It scored 61% from Rotten Tomatoes, 5.5/10 from IMDb, and 22% from Metacritic, while 43% google users like it.
