Yesterday, Wednesday, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid called for the dismissal of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the formation of a new government.
The Israeli newspaper Maariv quoted Lapid, the former prime minister and current opposition leader, calling for the dismissal of Netanyahu, claiming that he is not fit to lead the country at the present time.
Lapid called for the formation of a new Israeli government with the participation of the "Haredi -religious" parties present in the current Knesset (the Israeli parliament), and for the prime minister to be from the ruling "Likud" party, which is led by Netanyahu.
Meanwhile, Israeli Channel 12 quoted Yair Lapid as saying that it is not correct to go to parliamentary elections at the present time, indicating the need for Prime Minister Netanyahu to go to his home and appoint a new prime minister for Israel.
