The Combined Task Force 152, led by the Kuwaiti Navy and involving the Kuwaiti Coast Guard and Helicopter Aviation from the Ministry of Interior, alongside a contingent from the US Navy, conducted the "Sea Shield" operation on December 2-3 in the Northern Arabian Gulf.
According to a statement released by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense on Sunday, the operation involved intensive maritime surveillance patrols by ships and aircraft aimed at maintaining security and stability and addressing maritime challenges in the region.
The ministry highlighted that the focused "Sea Shield" operation aims to enhance combat readiness and facilitate the exchange of expertise among participants, training them on the latest technologies used in supporting and enhancing maritime security.
