Kuwait Unveils Fruitful Talks on Reconciliation to Ensure Gulf Stability

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister and Acting Information Minister Sheikh Dr Ahmed Nasser Al-Muhammad Al-Sabah revealed "fruitful" discussions within the framework of the Gulf reconciliation.

Sheikh Dr Ahmed Al-Nasser said, in a statement delivered on Kuwait TV, that it is within the framework of reconciliation efforts previously led by Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Saba.

The statement also hailed the continuation of the efforts currently being exerted by Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, and President Donald Trump to solve the crisis. Fruitful discussions took place during the last period.

The Kuwaiti FM explained that all parties affirmed their keenness on Gulf and Arab solidarity and stability, besides reaching a final agreement that would achieve what they aspire for in terms of permanent solidarity between their countries and achieve what is good for their people.

In his statement, the Kuwaiti FM expressed his "appreciation to Jared Kushner, the chief advisor to the US President, for the valuable efforts he has made recently in this regard."

On the other hand, Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani revealed today that there is a gesture to resolve the Gulf issues, stressing that the resolution should be comprehensive.

According to Reuters, the Qatari minister added that "We hope that things will fall into the right place, but we cannot predict whether the move is imminent or the conflict will be resolved completely."
