United States (US) National Security Advisor John Kirby said that Israel did not present any plan regarding civilians in Rafah and how to evacuate them out of Gaza, stressing that Egypt expressed its concern about launching any military operation in Rafah.
In a press conference, Kirby added that US President Joe Biden informed Netanyahu of the need to adopt a coherent and sustainable strategy to get rid of Hamas.
He also asked Netanyahu to send a team of Israeli officials to Washington to listen to American concerns about launching a military operation in the Palestinian Rafah
