On Friday, the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton announced that she has a cancer diagnosis.

In a short video broadcasted by the BBC, Middleton made her first official appearance since her abdominal surgery in late January.

She described the past two months as “incredibly tough for our entire family.”

The UK Senior Royal said: “We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment."

“This of course came as a huge shock,” adding: “William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family. As you can imagine, this has taken time.”

During the past few days, it was reported that BBC Events was notified of receiving a huge Royal announcement which caused a huge controversy and conspiracy theories on social media.

Hundreds of people questioned the status of the future queen due to her absence from the public eye.

This is the second cancer diagnosis that struck the Royal Family after King Charles announced cancer diagnosis.
