Karim Abdel Gaward to Face Youssef Soliman in Optasia Squash Championship Final

Two Egyptian Squash stars Karim Abdel Gaward, and Youssef Soliman will face each other, Sunday, in the final of the Optasia Squash Championship.

Abdel Gawad qualified for the final after defeating Baptiste Masotti in a 42-minute contest.

On the other hand, Soliman advanced to the final after beating Mazin Hesham 3-2 in a tough game that lasted for 73 minutes.

Egyptian Squash star Mostafa Asal secured Squash International Ranking's top in March, despite his absence from Optasia Squash Championship.

The Peruvian Diego Elias, and England's Representative Mohamed El Shorbagy were the closest competitors for Asal's place, however, their defeat in Optasia Squash Championship prevented that.

Diego lost to Karim Abdel Gawad 3-1 in a 54-minute contest, and the Peruvian star gave up during the fourth round due to the injury.

On the other hand, El Shorbagy was knocked out after being defeated by Charlie Lee 3-1 in a 46-minute contest.
