Juventus came out on top in a fiery clash against rivals Inter Milan, securing a 4–3 victory on Saturday evening at the Allianz Stadium in the third round of the Serie A season.
The hosts found the net through Lloyd Kelly (14’), Kenan Yıldız (38’), Khephren Thuram (82’), and Vasilije Adžić (91’).
Inter responded with two goals from Hakan Çalhanoğlu (30’, 65’) and one from Marcus Thuram (76’).
The win puts Juventus at the top of the Serie A table with nine points from three straight victories, having scored seven goals and conceded three.
Inter, meanwhile, drop to seventh with three points from one win and two defeats, despite scoring nine goals and conceding six.
Beyond the battle for points, the match also served as a crucial test ahead of the Champions League group stage.
Juventus will face Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, September 16, while Inter meet Ajax on Wednesday, September 17.
