The largest planet in the solar system reaches its closest approach to Earth today, it will brightly shine with its four moons.
The fifth planet from the Sun will lie at a distance of only 397,850,855 miles or 4.28 AU.
People can easily spot it in the sky today and on the 12th of this month. Binoculars and telescopes can be used to observe the cloud belts on Jupiter and the Great Red Spot.
