Boris Johnson, the outgoing Prime Minister (PM) of the United Kingdom (UK) used one of his last speeches in the House of Commons to warn that Labor leader Sir Keir Starmer was plotting with the "deep state" to bring Britain back into the European Union ( EU).
According to the British newspaper The Independent, Johnson said, before suggesting that his legacy was under threat: “We are done with Brexit.
He continued to say that some people will say when I leave the office that this is the end of Brexit and that the leader of the opposition and the deep state will carry out a conspiracy to bring us back into conformity with the EU".
But last month, the Labor leader vowed not to return the UK to the EU's single market or customs union, or to restore freedom of movement, as he laid out his plan to "make Brexit work".
