Britain's Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Monday that Fans will be allowed to return once again to the sporting events from Monday, May 17 as he revealed the state's road map for easing coronavirus lockdown restrictions.
Supporters have been prevented from attending sporting venues across England since the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
"However, the Prime Minister has now revealed plans in the House of Commons to ease restrictions step-by-step across the whole country simultaneously instead of on a regional basis," Skysports reported.
"From May 17, indoor events will be capped at 50 per cent capacity or 1,000, whichever is lower, and for outdoor events this will be 50 per cent capacity or 4,000, whichever is lower," the Prime minister announced.
"Larger outdoor seated venues such as football stadiums will be allowed up to 10,000 fans or be a quarter full, whichever is lower," he added.
