On Wednesday, the Japanese Meteorological Agency warned citizens from exposure to sunstroke due to the significant rise in temperatures in the central prefectures of the country and the capital, Tokyo.
Japanese Broadcasting Corporation "NHK" reported that the warning includes at least four prefectures, along with several other regions, in light of the increasing cases of heatstroke in hospitals over the past few days.
The authorities advised citizens to stay inside closed places and refrain from training. They also urged them to use air conditioners, consume appropriate amounts of water, and provide care for children and the elderly.
