The Arabic Center for Childhood and Development issued the 2023 plan under the theme of facing climate change.
The program was prefaced by an introduction by Abdel Aziz bin Talal, the head of the council. He pointed out that the crisis of climate change and its impact is an essential issue related to people's lives, especially children which need immediate action to save children.
On his side, Dr. Hassan El Baillawy that the ACCD's role of raising awareness, and establish partnerships to reduce the impact of climate change. The ACCD also targets executing adaption and stopping environmental degradation, so the council selected climate change as the theme of the 2023 plan.
The 2023 plan is an annual issue by the council and is based on the strategic direction of the council and is supported by the Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND).
