Israeli Secret Agents among 4 Dead in Boating accident in Italy

Two Italian secret agents and a retired Israeli Mossad agent were among the four who died when a boat capsized in a lake in northern Italy over the weekend, Italian authorities said on Tuesday

An official statement by the Italian security services said: “On the evening of May 28, following a maritime accident caused by a violent whirlwind, Claudio Alonsi (62 years old) and Tiziana Parnobi (53 years old) went missing. They belong to the intelligence service and were in the area to participate in a birthday party. one of the participants is an Israeli citizen, who is in his fifties, according to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The ministry stated that the dead Israeli was "a former member of the security forces".

The fourth victim is a Russian citizen, according to the local news website Varisi News.
