Sources close to the right-wing MP Nir Auerbach, a friend of the Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and his comrade in the Yamina party, revealed that Auerbach promotes a plan that he runs with a number of other right-wing deputies to get rid of the Arab partners in the government coalition.
He seeks to form a new right-wing government or go to new elections.
These sources said that Auerbach wants to help his friend build on restoring popular support for him among the settlers and other right-wing forces, which he lost during the past year due to his alliance with the United Arab List of the Islamic Movement, led by Representative Mansour Abbas.
To this end, he is not in a hurry to push for new elections, as opinion polls indicate an inevitable failure at the present time, and he is trying to push Bennett to find a way to form a right-wing government with some opposition forces.
