Five people were hurt after the Israeli army launched missiles into a region near the perimeter fence on Tuesday evening in the northeastern section of the Gaza Strip, east of Beit Hanoun.
Medical sources reported that five Palestinians with shrapnel wounds from Israeli missiles were taken to Beit Hanoun Hospital in northern Gaza.
Additionally, the army launched several shells into two locations in southern Gaza east of Gaza City and east of Khan Younis that were thought to be controlled by armed resistance groups.
The most recent developments followed the passing of political prisoner Khader Adnan, who passed away in an Israeli jail after 87 days of a hunger strike to defend his unjust administrative detention.
