The Israeli Channel 13 reported Thursday that the Golani Brigade of the Israeli occupation army had withdrawn from the Gaza Strip after 60 days of fighting in which it suffered heavy losses.
Israeli Channel 13 explained that Golani Brigade soldiers left the Gaza Strip to reorganize their ranks.
Earlier, a former military commander in the occupation army admitted the extent of the losses incurred by the Israeli forces since the Gaza War, according to what Hebrew newspapers reported.
Moshe Kaplinsky, former commander of the Golani Brigade, admitted that the brigade had lost a quarter of its forces since October 7, noting that the loss of life was big, where 82 officers and soldiers were wounded and killed.
Losses increased among the ranks of the Israeli army in the Gaza battles, and the occupation announced that it had suffered the largest losses in more than a month after ambushing its forces in the Gaza Strip.
Fierce fighting is taking place in the north and south of the Gaza Strip, despite the United Nations calling for an immediate ceasefire for humanitarian reasons in Gaza.
