His statements came as an answer when he was asked about the killing of the Reuters videographer on Friday.
Hecht added: “We are looking into it."On Friday, a Reuters journalist was killed and six other journalists were injured in the South of Lebanon as Israel fired missiles on the cross-border between the Israeli and Lebanese sides.
The attacked journalists work for Al Jazeera and Agence France-Presse.
Lebanese Army said that Israel was behind the rocket fire that hit journalists.
