The Israel Airports Authority announced the reopening of the Israeli airspace since 7:30 am (local time), Sunday.

However, it highlighted that the flight schedules at Ben-Gurion Airport could be subject to change.

Saturday's night, Iran launched more than 100 drones and ballistic and cruise missiles at Israel as the first direct military threat to Israel after the Israeli attack on the Iranian diplomatic compound in Syria.

Sirens were alerted for more than 700 times, according to Israeli media outlets and heavy thuds and bangs were heard from aerial interceptions of explosive drones.

Israel’s military spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said 99 percent of more than 300 drones and missiles fired by Iran were intercepted by Israel and its allies.
