Egypt's Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Dr. Hani Swelim and a number of African ministers visited Abdeen Palace on Wednesday.
The ministers expressed their admiration for the palace and its contents, describing it as one of Egypt's most famous historical palaces.
It is worth mentioning that, the opening session of technical meetings of African Ministers' council on Water (AMCOW)'s 13th general assembly was launched, Tuesday.
The event is being hosted by Egypt during the period from June 13-15, with the participation of a large number of African water ministers and senior officials.
This came in light of Egypt's presidency of African Ministers' Council on Water (AMCOW) for 2023-2024.
The meetings are scheduled to review various programs and activities of AMCOW, which aim to provide technical support for African countries to raise their efficiency in making a good use of their water resources.
